The ferry runs directly to Circular Quay, and frequent buses run along New South Head Road to the city and Bondi Junction. From the airport it's roughly 25–35 minutes by car.

A public car park at Kiaora Place plus metered street parking; busy on weekends. The ferry and buses skip the parking altogether.

Yes — Redleaf Beach (the Murray Rose Pool) is a free netted harbour swimming enclosure with a small beach and pontoons. See Stay & Harbour.

The Murray Rose Pool is free and open year-round, busiest and warmest from about November to April. It's a netted harbour enclosure, not a flagged surf beach, so there's no lifeguard patrol — but the netting and calm water make it one of the safer harbour swims. See Stay & Harbour.
